I'm thinking that it might just be possible to hear music every evening in Stresa. Here are the latest additions to the summer musical calendar. The return of two perennial favorites: Thursday Jazz and Dinner evenings at Willy's Cocktail Bar at Caffe and Bar Verbanella, and the summer music series at Regina Palace Hotel.
Jazz and Dinner at Bar Verbanella
The popular Jazz and Dinner series has returned to Bar Verbanella. Each Thursday, starting at 8 PM, dine or have drinks at this popular spot on the lake, watch the sun set, while listening to excellent jazz. This week features Brasil Jazz, with Antonella Montrasio, vocals, Lalo Conversano, trumpet, Fabrizio Spadea on giutar, and Valerio Della Fonte, brass. Each week there will be a different performer or group. Dine in the restaurant, drinks at the bar, or anything you want on the terrace facing the lake; you can hear the music from anywhere.

Regina Palace Summer Music
This is the 21st season that the elegant Regina Palace Hotel has organized a long summer schedule of musical events. It opened last week with an evening of arias and chamber music performed by an Argentinian trio. And the music will continue playing all summer. Certain events have a minimal ticket charge, while many are free. In addition, there is often live music in the evenings on the front terrace of the hotel. It's a lovely spot to watch a sunset, or people, and like the concerts, it is open to all.
To learn what will be happening at the Regina on the dates you will be in Stresa email the hotel at: sales@regina-palace.it
Do you search out the musical events when here? Then always check the calendar, keep your eyes open in Stresa for the posters and ads for other events, and just keep your ears open as well! You'll often just stumble onto something that sounds beautiful.
And for a few more reminders check the music posts.
