Look what I saw in the piazzaaaa  ...  

Setting up of the tables! The piazza has been empty all winter, but here's a sure sign that the season has begun. I also saw the first tiny buds of flowers while driving along the lake, the shops opening on Isola Bella, and the first early tourists visiting, before the crowds arrive.          (   continued ...   )

How nice to see everything wake up from winter hibernation!

And although it was a little grey when I took this photo, the sun has been out ever since, the sky is brilliant blue, and the sound of birds fills the morning air.
